Anne will be reading at the Hexham Book Festival on the evening of Sunday 28th April. Poet Linda France will present ‘Nine from the North: A Celebration of Women Poets’. Also reading are Anna Woodford, Christy Ducker, Cynthia Fuller, Ellen Phethean, Linda Anderson, Lisa Matthews and Pippa Little. Anne will be reading at the National Poetry Library on Wednesday 3rd April; the evening, lasting from 8pm – 9.15pm, celebrates the tenth birthday of Long Poem Magazine. Anne will join editors Linda Black and Claire Crowther, and poets Mimi Khalvati, Penelope Shuttle, Mark Goodwin, Timothy Adès and Adnan al-Sayegh. The event is free but ticketed.

Anne’s poem ‘Portrait of My Father as a Ruined House’ has been Commended in the Torbay Poetry Festival Competition 2018.
Two of Anne’s poems – ‘Lucernarium’ and ‘The Singing Women of Duddo’ – have been Commended in the Second Light Poetry Competition 2018.
